Blue Daze Ground Cover Plant
The blue daze evolvulus flowering plant is native to Paraguay and Brazil, the blue daze is an evergreen and a member of the morning glory family. Another name for the blue daze is the dwarf morning glory, this evergreen beauty is a low-growing plant that makes a good ground cover.
The blue daze plant is a tender non-vining herbaceous perennial that can also be grown as an annual, the blue daze is heat-loving and drought-tolerant. The flowers of this tropical beauty are brilliant blue funnel-shaped, what I love about blue daze is that it produces these beautiful flowers in abundance.
The foliage (leaves) of the blue daze are fuzzy, olive gray-green, if you’re living in a coastal area and would love a garden plant that can produce an abundance of flower bloom while withstanding the salt sprays (salt-tolerant) then look no further blue daze will go to work for you. Like other ground covers the blue daze plant is also used widely for this purpose (as a ground cover) which we will be looking at below, blue daze can also be used in hanging baskets and containers. Here are other articles that discuss this garden beauty, blue daze winter care, blue daze care, blue daze hanging baskets, blue daze seeds, blue daze not blooming, and propagating blue daze.

- Many garden pests and rodents such as rats are known to use weeds as a harborage or shelter, these insect pests can in turn damage garden plants. Rodents can also damage garden plants, especially food crops, and will eventually seek entrance into homes and building structures as long they are allowed to hang around premises which can lead to other issues that can lead to spending more to eliminate them.
