One of my friends is taking garden architecture courses, and even though they have free access to these tools, I think he needs an edge trimmer so he can practice at home too. I really like the Black+Decker HT22 Trimmer because it doesn’t require gas and it is lightweight compared to the other edge trimmers. Both my parents and I have hedges. Until recently my father was taking care of it all and he used a pair of trimmers like the Fiskars 9191 shears.
