Healthy SuperFoods to Live Longer
Here we are again, we are at year’s end and are about to enter a new year full of new dreams and hopes. One of the interesting things that I found out about the new year is that most of us have one thing in common and that is making those new years resolutions.
Some of those resolutions may include spending more time with family and friends, taking on a new career, or maybe it is taking time out and really enjoying the roses along life journey and the list goes on.
Then for others, it is living a healthier lifestyle because you owe it to yourself to be in the best shape ever. There is also the challenge of so many mouthwatering foods and treats that we are tempted to indulge in each day
it is quite clear that we train ourselves in saying NO or at least consuming those foods in moderation to maintain our health. In some ways, many adults are like kids in that they hate the good stuff and will really feast on those foods that are not healthy.

It’s funny how veggies are such a disliked food with both kids and adults! They can actually be really delicious, plus there is a myriad of different preparations that add flavor and variety to it.
When I was a kid, I used to dislike vegetables, but as an adult who is now more knowledgeable and experimental with cooking, vegetables can make some pretty awesome and tasty dishes.
Together with broccoli, cauliflower is one of my favorites. Thanks for the recap on its amazing health benefits!
Hello so nice to meet you and yes veggies are really great. I am so happy that I could help and thanks a million for sharing. All the best of success to you.
I always love reading your articles. It makes me want to eat nothing but fruit and vegetables. They are all so good for you and I love cauliflower. I just realize that there are so many benefits that come with enjoying this yummy vegetable. I do have one question, if you buy cauliflower in the frozen section (I know not as good), do you still get the same benefits that you have listed, as you would if you eat fresh cauliflower?
Good morning Matt’s Mom so good to see you and thanks a million for those kind words. It is always my pleasure to help. Cauliflower is really amazing with all of its benefits. Eating cauliflower uncooked or semi-boil is always better. Frozen is not so good because the veggie is robbed of some of its vitamins. Hope this helps. All the best to you and have a good day.
I love cauliflower especially cooked. Aside from the health benefits it is quite a versatile vegetable that can be eaten with just about anything. There is an amazing Indian dish called “Aloo Gobi” which is a tasty curry with cauliflower, potatoes and other things beyond my cooking knowledge. Wish I knew how to make it but if you ever get the chance, definitely try it!
Hello Arian so good to meet you. Cauliflower is really a must try because of the many benefits. I am happy to here that you love this veggie. Thanks for letting me know about Aloo Gobi it sounds like a must try. Have a good day.
Thank you for posting about the benefits of cauliflower. I have started buying it more often (organic) and then pulsing it in my food processor to make cauli-rice, which I then use for fried rice. It is super handy and adapts to many spices. Great post!
Hello
A year sure doesn’t take long to go by. I have my resolution picked out already and unfortunately, work has to remain for another year anyway. I strive every day to eat and live healthily but sometimes I do fall into the sweet temptation.
I love cauliflower cooked or raw. With its many health benefits, I should be eating it more regularly. If we all ate properly we wouldn’t need supplements.
Thank you for sharing this informative article.
