Detoxifying the Natural Way
In order for us to maintain healthy bodies, we must do all that we can to keep our bodies in tip-top shape so that we can always be at our best. Rules that govern the laws of health are as followed.
1.Getting 7-8 hours of rest.
2. Having a balanced diet.
3. Exercising.
4. Drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water a day.
5. Staying away from stressful situations.
6.Taking time out for yourself, exp, finding a hobby, something that you can enjoy doing while feeling relaxed.
7. A regular check-up at the doctor’s office.
8. Stay away from alcohol.
These are just a few that govern good health.
Spring Cleaning
And then there is spring cleaning. Well, what does spring cleaning have to do with maintaining good health? I am glad that you ask. What I meant by this statement is that our bodies at times need to go through a period of rejuvenation and what better way to do this
than by giving our bodies the detoxing that it needs. No matter how healthy our lifestyle, we should always do a detox to ensure even greater health. And then there are those sad to say who neglect the laws of good health and because of this their health is deteriorating.
The good news, however, is that all is not lost. Hope is here, just follow the rules of good health and you will be on the road to recovery to enjoy life as it was meant to be enjoyed. Detoxing will help to get rid of all that junk that is piled up in your system.
The good part about detoxifying the natural way is that you don’t have to worry about side effects, this method of detoxifying will also make it easy on your body as you begin to spring clean(detoxify)
The three- day detoxifying plan
Word of caution here
The first thing that I want to note here is that if you have any medical issues and are under doctor’s care, check with your doctor to ensure if you should engage in this exercise.
When engaging in this exercise you may want to take it slow until you feel well able to complete the three days because our bodies are used to its regular daily intake that any change can cause the body to respond in a way in terms of weakness and even swinging in the head, so take it slow at first let’s say one day until you can commit to three days.
While performing this exercise make sure and include at least 5-6 glasses of water a day for the duration of this exercise.
1. Day one- start your day with a glass of room temperature water follow with fresh fruits, also include herbal tea. Lunchtime can be a nice vegetable salad followed by two glasses of room temperature water and a protein shake. Dinner time, again a vegetable salad and a protein shake. Wait for about an hour to an hour and a half maybe two if you prefer and drink another two glasses of room temperature water. If you prefer again you can complete the sixth glass a few hours later.
2. Day two- can be repeated as day one.
3. Day three- congratulation you made it. Day three will consist of as you did for breakfast on days 1 and 2. You would have your salad for lunch along with a protein shake and two glasses of water. Dinner is the same as on day 1 and day 2 along with a protein drink.
Word of caution here
While performing these exercises you may want to try and use as little energy as possible because the more active you are the more energy you will be using and this may cause you to feel a bit weak and tired. Remember doing this time our bodies are also getting rid of toxins
You may also experience some dizziness, but above all take it slow. This three day cleansing with fruits can be done once every two or three months or every other month. So again take it slow, your body will love you for it.

Hello, interesting website you have.
The font in the content is too small and hard on the eyes. If you enlarge it a size it would be better.
The pictures and colors are great and placed nicely.
The content is also placed well and it’s not cluttered.
Overall it’s awesome, I enjoy anything having to do with gardening and this is informative. I visit sites like this and can say yours is well done.
Hello Patsy it is so good to meet you, thanks a million for those kind words, all the best to you and have a good day.
Cleansing with fruits sounds like it could be a good thing, but I personally check with my doctor with anything I do. Fruits and vegetables are the best for you. Some better than others, but I watch the my fruit intake because even though it’s natural sugar, it’s still sugar. Which fruits are the best for you with the least amounts of sugar?
Hello Rob S, it is so good to meet you, the fruits that has the least amount of sugar are grapefruit, apples, strawberries, raspberries, avocados. There are more, but these are just a few. Hope this helps, have a good day.
Hi there. I’m definitely going to try this detox method. I haven’t done a detox in a very long time, and I can feel that my body is due for one. I get low blood sugar very easily, but your method seems like it would work well for me because you don’t cut off too many calories at once. I need to eat more salad anyway so this will be a great start. Thanks for the info! 🙂
Hello Shannon so good to hear from you again, Cleansing with fruits sure do work wonders. Glad I could help, thanks for commenting and have a good evening.
Hi Norman,
I love this post! I am actually feeling really sluggish at the moment and you have just inspired me to try a detox.
Also, I am so impressed with the amount of posts you have. I can’t wait to scan though and read some that interest me.
Just a quick question, what do you recommend for a protein shake? Is there a specific powder or brand you recommend?
Thanks,
Amy
Hello it is so good to meet you and I am so glad that I could help, thanks a million for your kind words you have made my day. Giving our body the cleansing that it needs is such a wonderful thing and trust me, you will feel better with more energy.
Here are a few protein powders that are a good choice. Whey protein, optimum nutrition pro complex, nature’s best zero carb Isopure and dymatize Iso-100. These are just a few that you can take a look at. Hope this helps all the best to you and have a good day.
And please do let me know how it goes. Talk soon, thanks again.
Detoxing is a great idea to ‘reset’ the system and feel a whole lot better at the same time. I eat pretty healthily most of the time and still every now and then feel like I need to give my system a break. I wonder what the theory is in having a protein shake rather than an appropriately sized portion of lean protein? Do you have any information around that?
Hello and thanks for commenting, the answer to your question if I understand correctly what you are saying is that even though the end result may be the same for both we want to look at what is easier as far as preparation and digestion is concern. Hope this helps all the best to you and have a good day.
Hi I also feel the font is a bit too small that makes it rather difficult to read. But in my opinion this is the most interesting site I’ve read in a long time.
I have difficulty eating fruit…I’d much rather eat biltong:) but after reading your site I realized fruit is an absolute necessity for a healthy body and mind.
Thanks for a very informative site!
Hello Deirdre Du Preez it is so good to meet you and thanks for those kind words and for commenting. Fruit are so important and we should make them a part of our diet because how beneficial they are. Doing a body cleans is so awesome because it really benefits our bodies in so many ways.
If you have difficulty in eating fruits then what I want to suggest if that is ok with you is to juice your fruit this will make it easier. Just purchase a juicing machine and you are good to go. I will be putting a juicing machine on my webpage in a few days God’s willing .
Here is the like about the benefits of juicing, I will also be putting the juicing machine on this page. Thanks again and do please let me know how it goes. Have a good day.https://staging-gardenofedengardencenter.siterubix.com/benefits-of-healthy-juicing
I need to say, I love that this is a quick and easy 3 day cleans. I have been looking into some detox and cleansing diets, and the regiment is for a month.
Not that I’m not motivated to be healthy, but a whole month of a strict routine is really tough.
This three day cleanse is so doable, and I don’t feel like it would take over my life lol
If you are someone that is really active like myself, would I have any problems with this cleanse? would you have any suggestions?
Hello Stephania it is so good to meet you, and thanks a million for commenting, the three day cleans is really great because it is durable unlike the other cleans that you have mention. This should be fun while you are cleansing instead of viewing it as torture
Because of the changes that your body goes through it is good to take it easy but if you feel like you can continue your regular program then why not. I am glad that I could help. All the best to you, please let me know how it goes and have a good day.
With the amount of junk food I eat during the week, I think a well-balanced diet is exactly what I need, and cleansing with fruits sounds like a great option to restore my health. 🙂 But I also see that other aspects are needed for living a healthier lifestyle as well.
A detox sounds like a perfect plan to me because I can’t remember the last time I flushed my body of all the rubbish.
A 3-day detox doesn’t sound all that bad and gives us enough time to put goodness back into our bodies. But I can certainly see how this fruit detox plan could have negative side effects, especially for folks who are used to eating a lot of fatty and unhealthy sugary foods, etc.
I guess I’ll just have to be careful when I’m doing this fruit cleansing detox for a few days.
Thanks
Neil
