I must say that this is the first time that I have heard of verticle bags to grow plants in, and I love that it is easy to control insects, as this is our big problem, especially the snails. The only thing is I guess you must know exactly how much fertilizer and water to give them, as I always tend to overwater and kill my plants.
I would like to use this idea to grow some herbs, like rosemary and thyme.
These bags are so amazing and will work wonders, yes in order to give your plants the right amount of water and fertilizers is best to know your plant’s water and fertilizer requirements. If your planting from seeds the information should be on the seed package or you can ask your plant nurseryman about this information the seem is true if planting from seedlings. Your plant nurseryman is your best source of information. Hope this helps.
I was never one for gardening and growing food in the garden until about 10 years ago. I now love to grow herbs and veg where possible as we do get a much better taste from our foods when they are home grown.
I like the idea that you have listed what can be grown along with the pros and cons without the need to search elsewhere for this info.
They make great space savers for smaller gardens and I like the idea that they are low maintenance and you can grow flowers as well as herbs.
My garden is 150 foot long so it needs colour and home grown produce would be perfect.
I’ll definitely be looking our for some of these bags during the spring, thank you!

Connecting with nature on the outdoors is so amazing and filled with so many rewards, I am so happy to help. Wishing you great success as you work in your garden. Have a good day.
Some time ago I had seen a friend’s garden that was full of vertical grow bags and to be honest I was amazed by how nice it looked. He also told me that they need a lot of attention in order to keep them in good condition but it made the garden walls look so much better than without them. It’s an excellent idea for decorating walls in general.
These gardens serve so many purposes and are worth the investment, thanks for stopping by and commenting.
