  1. I JUST started eating dried figs (are all these called fig newtons)? I’ve never had an actual fig AS IS. I’m wondering what it tastes like as a fruit itself? Also, where are common places to find figs? I live in Wisconsin and typically grocery shop at the local stores. Are they carried at Walmart? There are more stores in the cities I could make a point to get to I suppose.

  2. You know, I have been looking for ways to lower my cholesterol naturally. Thought I would see what I can eat or supplement my diet with to help. I don’t have super high cholesterol, just kind of on the border, so wanted to nip that straight away. Here I see figs can help with that. I never have had them before, so I am curious what they taste like? They look yummy from the picture. Potassium is another vitamin that I am always deficient in. I think that figs will be a great choice for me!
