I love peas!
I live in Italy and also here peas are eaten with rice. We mostly use the green peas. they are close to my heart because we used to grow them in our garden when I was a little girl. then we ate them directly from the garden as they are, yummy!
However, I wasn’t aware of all the nutritional benefits of peas. No, that I know how healthy they are I am going to eat them even more.
Are you going to write some recipes how to use peas or do you know some good site where to find them?
Thank you!
Maria
Hello Maria it is so good to meet you and I am glad that I could help. Peas can bring such great flavors to our foods and the good part is how they benefit us in so many ways. You can check out this site Italian peas recipe-Allrecipes.com
Hope this helps, all the best to you and have a good day.
Hello Norman, Your whole website is so informative and full of really good advice. It is perhaps one of the most comprehensive that I’ve read on the subject of not only gardening, but also about the healthy benefits of the plants you grow.It must have taken you a long time to reach this point. Your pictures are clear and beautiful.
I did not feel that you are trying to sell me anything in particular, but more to share your knowledge and experience. There is nothing that distracts the reader from the main content of your posts. I see that you have discussed and promoted Wealthy affiliate on your site, are you hoping to use your website to show other people what they could achieve if they shared their interests/hobbies in a similar way to you?
I love this page about beans and would also love a great recipe for cooking red beans and rice as this is one of my favourite dishes, maybe you could share it here?
Anyway, this might sound like a strange question, but do you grow your own Kidney beans?
Looking forward to reading more of your posts,
Best wishes, Lorna
(I think I may have misunderstood this lesson about leaving comments on other websites, as I thought I had to leave one one your actual website, to increase traffic or something. Anyway, I have left you a comment on your website, but also copied it here, so hope you understand. I’m still new to WA and learning the ropes, I hope my website will look as good as yours someday.)
This is my third attempt to post your comment, as I had to go back and set up a Gravatar account to continue. By the time I clicked back onto site comments I hadn’t realised that the page had changed to peas, not beans. Sorry for the confusion again.
Bye for now.
Hello Lorna my dear lady it so good to meet you and thanks a million for those kind words. Puttig this website togther did take some time and hard work, but when you love what you are doing work becomes play, so for me building my website that pretains to my niche is like being on the play ground and taking part in fun activities and playing on the sliding boad and swing set.
I am so happy to know that I am touching lives, connecting with people like yourself and helping to inspire them also that they can see that anything is possible once we believe and then going for goal. Either we pay the price for success or pay the price for failure, either way we pay, therefore failure is not and option.
I did not know anything about building wesbites and all of thiis other good stuff you see here but following the training here at wealthy affiliate along with hard work is now paying off and you can do the seem also, just follow the training, never give up and you will have success.
I had a few gardens in the past hope to get back into that soon, but my yard is filled with ornamental plants. I will get you the recipe on beans and rice, no problem my friend. Thanks again and if there is anyting that I can help you with please let me know. Good things are going to happen for you because you are a winner.
Talk soon, all the best to you and have a good day.
Thanks Norman, I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work here.
Best wishes
Hi,
What a thorough explanation of what peas are and what they can do for you. I never knew all the health benefits that can be derived from peas.
The site is structured well. I really like the menus along the top. We live in a semi-arid region and the xeriscaping section was spot on.
You look like you have been working on this site for a long time as evidenced by its completeness and it shows your intent is to provide knowledge to someone who visits and not just to drive them to WA.
I will be revisiting as we are avid gardeners and landscapers.
Thanks.
Hello Warren it is so nice to meet you and I am glad that I could help. Thanks for commenting and for your support, wishing you the best of success and have a good day. Also hope you find what you need on my website and best of success with your gardening projects.
Peas were always my favorite growing up. I along with my three brothers took care of our massive garden and always looked forward to when the peas were ready for picking. We would shell the peas while watching movies and the first handful never made it to the bowl because we would eat them.
Great information on the health facts on peas. I was always told by my mother that the shells were not good for you, do you know if that is true? I see young pea shells added to salads all the time and stir fry.
Hello Criag so nice to meet you. Including peas in our diet is a good thing. As far as the shell is concern I have never tried that before but if it is enhancing your health and the health of others It should be fine. Thanks again for commenting. All the best to you and have a good day.
