The grass that I have in not St. Augustine, but is develops into a very thick layer of sod which the cordless edger/trimmers can’t easily cut. My corded trimmer has quit so I am in the market for another. I think the Black & Decker model would fill the bill because my edges have already been cut. I used straight handled edgers when I was a kid. I have one but only use it if I am cutting a new flower bed or repairing and a lawn edge. Thanks for this information.
You are welcome and all the best to you.
Very interesting on your top 4 choices for best edgers in 2023.
I’ve always enjoyed Black & Decker products as my gardening tools as they always withstood the abuse that was thrust upon them during yard maintenance season, especially in the sping, summer and fall..
To see that name brand appear on your list, I’m certain in my future purchases I would go that route again.
