  1. Thanks for writing this eye opening post about guavas. I had no idea they were so beneficial to our health and I pass by them at the market because I’m not sure about the taste. I do drink guava juice though and wonder if it contains all the nutrients as the fresh fruit does. Also, you mention making tea with the leaves and that the flesh is edible. Should we only buy organic guavas then?

    • Hello, Karen so nice to hear from you. Guavas are pretty amazing and the taste of this fruit is so wonderful. For me I would rather eat the fruits. It is always better to go organic because you don’t have to be concern about pesticides. Hope this helps, please let me know how it goes and have a good day.

  2. Hi Norman,

    As usual, excellent post!
I have a guava tree in my garden and to be honest, I am not a fan of this fruit:( I don’t like the smell, and the taste is weird to me. But my husband loves this fruit very much, and since we have it in our garden, he eats a lot of them. I knew this fruit was healthy, but I didn’t know that the Guava has so many benefits. I think I will force myself to eat this fruit because it is very good for the health!
Thank you very much for this great post!

I didn’t know guava has so many great benefits for health, I knew about its high content of Vit. C and even a guava is better than oranges, but didn’t know about the other benefits of having it.
How often should we have it?
